4.6 A Quick and Delicious Chicken Meal Ideal for Full-time College Students

Do you struggle with finding the time to prepare home-cooked meals while being a full-time college student? Believe me, I know the struggle. That’s why I’m going to share with you a simple and flavorful recipe for a chicken alfredo meal you can prepare at home! To make this meal perfect for friends and family you’ll need:

  • 1 box of fettuccine pasta

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • Alfredo sauce

  • ½ stick of butter

  • 2  skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt 

  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground pepper

  • ¾ cup of Parmesan (Optional)




Now that you have the ingredients, we’re ready to start cooking! Below are the next steps to follow:

  1. Cook and drain pasta based on instructions on box

  2. Add olive oil and the half stick of butter to a hot pan, then add chicken breasts to the pan quickly

  3. Season chicken with 1 ½ of both salt and pepper

  4. Cook chicken breasts until golden on the first side, then flip over 

  5. Reduce heat to medium and cook the second side for 5-7 minutes 

  6. Move chicken breasts onto a plate and slice into strips when cooled

  7. Add Alfredo sauce into noodles and stir until fully mixed

  8. Place noodles into a bowl or plate and top with sliced chicken 

  9. Garnish with additional Parmesan, if desired
